I have a confession: I have a fear of food carts. I don’t know where to stand so I can scan the menu before I place my order. And then once I place my order I don’t know where to wait. So for weeks – maybe even months – I studied (stalked?) Demarco’s Sandwiches from afar. The sandwiches all looked amazing, which says a lot as Portland seem’s to be the “bomb ass sandwich” capital of the world.
My stalking ended when Demarco’s posted a picture of a freaking SPAGHETTI SANDWICH. Carbs literally sandwiched between more carbs. Thick, Texas toast carbs. Toasted. Dusted with cheese. So yeah long story short I finally took my happy sandwich-loving ass to Demarco’s because I knew exactly what I wanted. It was above and beyond my expectations and sadly, it isn’t a regular menu item.
That said, the other items are amazing and very high-quality. 12/10 would eat here again.
